RPAL POLICIES & DEFINITIONS:
FOOD TYPES:
"Fixed Foods" are NEW foods purchased direct from the Muenster factory here in Texas and are available at all times - Great product if you wish to feed the same food at all times.
"Variable Foods" are foods that may be Here Today But Gone Tomorrow - these foods are typically purchased foods and may be near date or past date, cans may be dented or partially filled. Prices on these foods are subject to fluctuations depending on the cost involved in bringing them in and inventory is updated weekly so be sure and check back often:)
+Products Condition: No Open/Torn Bags will be offered and Wet food must be properly sealed i.e. good seal around the opening, no bulging (we do allow dented as long as it meets the above criteria)
+Product Details: All details, descriptions, photos, retail values, etc. presented in the food bank are pulled from the internet based on the SKU number and are for representation purposes only. Although we strive to ensure we get accurate details of the products presented occasionally the internet may list a variation from the actual products listed. If you notice any discrepancies in the listings please notify the RPAL Team right away.
+Best Buy Dates ARE NOT Expired Dates: After extensive research, including discussions with veterinarians, food manufactures and personal experience we know that foods can and do last well beyond the dates listed as "Best Buy Dates", however, if you are date sensitive the Best Buy date is always listed in parenthesis (0/00 ) on all products that list them.
+ Choose Foods You Prefer - Brand, Grain Free, Non Grain Free, Protein Source ( Chicken, Salmon, Beef,Lamb, etc.) Kibble Size (Large Breed, Small Breed) Age (Adult, Senior,Puppy or Kitten) etc.
+ Choose Bulk Pallets OR Individual Bags/Cases of Food
+ No Minimum or Maximum Number of Products Required
+ Various Pick Up Locations in Texas Check for Available Pick Up Dates
+ Deadline for Orders, Payment, Scheduling is ALWAYS Thursday Midnight

RPAL's Non-Profit Low-Cost Pet Food Bank is a "MEMBERS ONLY" food bank for registered and approved Rescue Groups, Shelters, Sanctuaries, TNR Groups & Independent Rescuers. The Food Bank is a program of Rescued Pet Adoption League (R-PAL) a 501c3 Texas Non-Profit Corporation Federal ID#26-1857334. Originally established in 2007 to rescue and find homes for abandoned, neglected and abused animals, after two (2) years of active rescue, and finding homes for hundreds of rescued pets RPAL’s founder Judy Griggs realized there was an opportunity to extend the reach of how many people and pets RPAL could help. By utilizing her knowledge, experience and expertise as a former entrepreneur, business owner, and negotiator of multi-million dollar contracts Ms. Griggs established RPAL’s Non-Profit Low-Cost Pet Food Bank in 2009.
As of this writing, April, 2020 the RPAL Low-Cost Pet Food Bank has distributed over 10,000,000 (ten million) pounds of products and has responded to a variety of natural disasters in Texas & Oklahoma. The RPAL Team is currently serving over 100 member organizations of the Rescue & Shelter community in Texas, and these Rescues & Shelters are collectively supporting over 5,000 dogs and cats every day while they await forever families.
Currently, RPAL has pickup locations in Arlington, Dallas, Houston, and Van, TX.
